Persimmon
Persimmon is a bright orange, sweet, honey-flavored fruit originating from East Asia. It has a smooth, glossy skin and a soft, jelly-like interior when ripe. Some varieties are firm and crisp (like Fuyu), while others become very soft and custard-like when fully ripe (like Hachiya). Persimmons are often eaten fresh, dried, or used in desserts, smoothies, and salads.
